Andrea Borgogni was born in Arezzo in 1981. Since childhood he has loved to investigate how and why objects can be designed. Over the years he has gained experience in different fields of design, from car modeling to product design. In 2011 he opened his studio in Milan. He has won numerous awards, including the SaloneSatellite Award in 2013. In his work he mixes a passion for craftsmanship with an awareness of the historical and social development of Italian manufacturing. With a marked predilection for seating projects, he has developed products and self-productions with small historical companies in the field of wrought iron, glass and wood. From the collaboration with the Porada brand, the Allison sofa was born.
