Jonas Forsman, raised in the renowned furniture-producing region of Småland in southern Sweden, developed an early appreciation for resource efficiency. Guided by the principle of using minimal resources to maximize output, he applies this ethos to his design approach. Starting with functionality, Forsman explores innovative solutions, incorporating different materials and mechanical techniques. He streamlines designs by eliminating unnecessary elements, allowing the function to stand out. A graduate in industrial design engineering from Gothenburg, he operates his studio and has received accolades such as the Red Dot and Design S awards for his products.
