Jurgen Bey, a Dutch designer, known for his work in product, furniture, interior, and public space design, was born in Soest, The Netherlands. He studied at the Design Academy in Eindhoven and founded the studio Konings and Bey in 1990, specializing in public spaces, interiors, and applied art. Notable among their projects was the exhibition design for the Droog collection at the Kunsthal in Rotterdam. In 2002, Jurgen partnered with architect Rianne Makkink to establish Studio Makkink & Bey, engaging in various design domains, including public spaces, product design, architecture, exhibition design, and applied arts.
