Architect (Seregno, 1985) Graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 2010 and enrolled in the Order of Architects, Planners, Landscapers, Conservators of the province of Como.
He grew professionally collaborating with Studio Opera where he had the opportunity to approach large interior, retail and product design projects for companies such as Flou, Porada, Casamilano, LauraMeroni, Harrods.
Driven by an irrepressible need to have his say in the design world, in 2016 he founded his own studio: Marco Cattaneo Design Studio.
In the same year his Catasta bookcase is chosen by YOUNG&DESIGN AWARD among the 10 best projects of the year made by under 35s.
With his studio he explores multiple design themes with a 360-degree vision on different scales.
He ranges from product design to interior design with a focus on lighting design.
He designs products for Companies such as Porada, Giulio Marelli, Biosofa, Flomar, Brianza Design, and Mogg, carries out interior desing and graphic design projects. He actively collaborates with his family’s historic lighting and furniture showroom working on tailor-made lighting design projects.
