Born in 1952 in Bolzano, Matteo Thun graduated in Architecture from the University of Florence in 1975. Co-founder of Sottsass Associati and the Memphis group in 1981, he later established Matteo Thun + Partners in 2001, a global architecture and design studio based in Milan with a branch in Shanghai. The studio specializes in hospitality, residential, retail, and urban design projects internationally. Since 2003, Antonio Rodriguez has been a partner, contributing to architectural, interior, styling, and product design projects, with a focus on the Asian market.
