Setsu & Shinobu Ito are both Japanese designers with extensive experience in architecture, decoration, product design, industry, and packaging. Setsu Ito, a graduate of Tsukuba University in Japan, collaborated with avant-garde Italian design leader Alessandro Mendini at Studio Alchimia and later with modern architecture and design maestro Angelo Mangiarotti. Shinobu Ito, a graduate of Tama Art University in Tokyo, began her career at CBS Sony (Sony Music Entertainment) in Sony Creative Products and obtained a Master’s Degree from the Domus Academy in Milan. They opened their design studio in 1997, advising international clients across a broad spectrum of design activities, including architecture, decoration, industry, and packaging.
