The b.bulb by the Ingo Maurer team is a tribute to Ingo Maurer’s first design from 1966 – the Bulb, the luminaire that made it into the permanent exhibition of The Museum Of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City after only a short time. The new b.bulb luminaire is the small, portable successor with rechargeable battery.
The small LED battery lamp consists of a glass head in a poetic design. With a button located under the base, the b.bulb can be easily switched on and off as well as dimmed. The battery lamp can be easily charged with a USB-C cable. The lamp is nice and light in the hand and can be carried from room to room by its owner. Even though the b.bulb is not suitable for outdoor use, the battery lamp is an eye-catcher in dry conditions not only indoors but also on the balcony, camping or at a picnic in the park. The b.bulb comes in a beautiful little bag, packed in a “gift box” in Ingo Maurer design. A USB-C cable for charging the lamp is included in the packaging.
