The Kaipo TOO, designed by Edward van Vliet, radiates unity throughout its hand formed Venetian glass. It is the successor of the first Kaipo design, dating back to 2001. The lighting object still sports the classic shape of the archetypical lamp base.

Edward van Vliet, a Dutch designer, has been making waves internationally since graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 1989. Operating his own studio, he specializes in unique patterns, product designs, and interior concepts for diverse clients globally, with a focus on hospitality, offices, homes, and public spaces. Van Vliet’s distinctive designs seamlessly blend three-dimensional lighting and furniture with intricate two-dimensional patterns, prints, and graphics, showcasing a mix of influences from traditional Western design, high-tech elements, and inspirations drawn from Middle Eastern, African, and Asian cultures.
