Light au Lait is functional and quirky, and fits nicely, but not exclusively, into kitchens and cafes. The teacup is attached to a saucer and, thanks to a ball joint, can be rotated 180° and tilted 30°. The switch is a teaspoon, which is pulled to turn the light on and off. Teacup and saucer are made of stoneware.

Ingo Maurer (1932–2019) was a pioneering German lighting designer, renowned for over 700 fixtures, including iconic pieces like the Bulb lamp and Hearts Attack. His studio, Design M, founded in the ’60s, continued to produce innovative designs, embracing simplicity and experimentation with materials like plastic and aluminum. Maurer’s works, characterized by playful and ironic elements, extend beyond lamp design to captivating light installations. His contributions earned him accolades, such as the German Design Award in 2010 and the Compasso d’Oro Career Award in 2011. Maurer’s legacy endures through his studio’s ongoing work.
Ingo Maurer started to design exceptional lamps, lighting systems and objects beginning in the middle of the 1960s, which his company produces and distributes worldwide. This is why we can realize our ideas without compromises.
