Raimond Puts (1937–2012), a Dutch self-taught designer, gained recognition for the Raimond lighting collection bearing his name. Originally a mathematician and technical engineer, Puts developed a fascination for machinery and problem-solving throughout his career. His introduction to metal during his studies opened new design possibilities. Experimenting with models involving various materials and geometric shapes, Puts became known for creating innovative products that excelled in both appearance and functionality.
