Tactile armchair is designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis for Baxter with base in black-varnished fir, frame in chilean and fir plywood and springing with woven elastic straps of covered rubber.
Cushions carried out with assembled soft leather bands with an inner padding made of acrylic fibre, padded in differentiated density polyurethane.
Available in two size, Tactile is a modern and very distinctive armchair: the back seat enfold the seat and it looks like a separated component; the soft shape enhanced by the stitching lines and the great seat convince to sit and enjoy the comfort.

Vincenzo De Cotiis, born in 1958 in Gonzaga, Italy, is an architect who studied at Politecnico di Milano. He founded his studio in Milan, where he lives and works. De Cotiis’ work is characterized by a complex journey, exploring parallels of space and time, cultural layers, and quantum leaps. His creations embody a process beyond reason and intellect, expressed through the materiality of his numerous works.
Symbol of Italian excellence, Baxter was born in 1990 in the heart of the Brianza furniture-manufacturing district. The family-run company developed its potential in Lurago d’Erba, where the ancient artisan tradition meets the highly specialized local crafts.
